1. Who we are

RxCarExpress operates a medication-delivery platform connecting pharmacies, dispatchers, and delivery drivers. If you have questions about this policy or want to exercise a data-related request, contact us at [email protected].

2. Data we collect

From drivers, through the Driver app

• Location (GPS). Collected while the driver is on duty, to route deliveries, show live position to dispatchers, and record the delivery location on proof-of-delivery records.
• Camera. Used to scan package barcodes and to capture delivery photos as proof of delivery. Photos are linked to the delivery ID, driver, and timestamp.
• Signature. Captured on-screen from the recipient (or via a secure link sent by text or email), along with the recipient's name, date, time, and, when available, GPS location and IP address.
• Account and delivery data. Driver name, account credentials, assigned deliveries, and delivery status updates.

From pharmacies and customers

• Pharmacy account details (name, address, phone number).
• Customer delivery details necessary to complete a delivery: name, delivery address, phone number, delivery instructions, and package/medication references. Drivers only see the minimum information needed to complete their assigned delivery.

3. How we use this data

• To assign, route, and track medication deliveries in real time.
• To generate proof of delivery (photo, signature, recipient name, timestamp, and location).
• To notify customers and pharmacies of delivery status.
• To support customer service, dispute resolution, and delivery history search.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use delivery or location data for advertising.

4. Data sharing

Delivery data (photos, signatures, location, status) is shared only among the parties involved in a given delivery — the assigning pharmacy, the dispatcher/admin team, and the assigned driver — through the RxCarExpress platform. We do not share personal data with third parties except where required to operate the service (e.g. push notification delivery) or where required by law.

5. Data retention

Delivery records, including photos and signatures, are retained as proof of delivery and for dispute resolution. Driver location data is used live for dispatch and route tracking and is retained as part of the delivery history tied to each order.

6. Your choices

• Location access can be controlled through your device's app permissions; note that the Driver app requires location access while on duty to receive and complete deliveries.
• Camera access is required to scan packages and capture delivery photos.
• To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, contact [email protected].

7. Security

Access to delivery photos, signatures, and customer information is restricted to authorized platform users involved in that delivery. Driver-facing views are limited to the minimum customer and medication information required to complete the assigned delivery.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
